Who We See At Darling Therapy
Don't see your concern below? Email us admin@darlingtherapy.com.au
Individual psychotherapy. For adults navigating anxiety, depression, burnout, stress, performance anxiety, low self-esteem, relationship difficulties or a general sense of feeling stuck. Individual therapy offers a space to understand what’s driving these experiences and create meaningful change, in how you feel, how you cope, and how you relate to yourself and others.
Adolescents and young people. Younger clients are supported through anxiety, emotional regulation, identity development, self-esteem, school stress, friendships, family dynamics, and the transitions of growing up.
Trauma and PTSD. For those living with trauma or Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, therapy provides a safe, compassionate space to process difficult experiences, make sense of your responses, and restore a sense of safety and stability.
Neurodivergence. We offer neurodivergent-affirming therapy for clients who are autistic, have ADHD, or identify as neurodivergent, including those exploring a late diagnosis or self-identification. Rather than trying to “fix” difference, we support you to understand your unique way of experiencing the world, manage challenges like overwhelm, masking, and burnout, and build a life that works with your brain, not against it.
Body image and BDD. We support clients experiencing body image distress and Body Dysmorphic Disorder (BDD), helping to ease preoccupation with appearance, reduce shame and self-criticism, and build a kinder, more stable relationship with yourself.
PMDD. We support those navigating cyclical mood changes that affect self-esteem, daily functioning, and the people closest to them.
Couples and Intimacy Therapy. For partners experiencing disconnection, conflict, or intimacy concerns, relationship counselling helps rebuild trust, deepen connection, and improve communication. Intimacy therapy is also available for individuals and couples wanting to explore sexual wellbeing in a non-judgemental environment.
Perinatal and postpartum care. We provide care throughout the perinatal journey, including counselling for pregnancy loss, postpartum depression and anxiety, and the demands of early parenthood. Helping clients process grief, navigate identity shifts, and move forward with greater confidence and connection.
Darling Therapy is an LGBTQIA+ affirming practice. Whatever your sexuality, gender, relationship structure, or stage of figuring it out, you’ll be met without assumption and without needing to educate me first. Your identity is welcome here, it doesn’t have to be the reason you came.
